LCW Night of Horrors 2005 Pay-Per-View Results 10.30.05

Night of Horrors (October 30, 2005) live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA.

The Steiner Brothers defeated LCW World Tag Team Champions Hiroyoshi Tenzan and Kensuke Sasaki (with Akira Hokuto) in 9:03 by pinfall when Rick Steiner pinned Hiroyoshi Tenzan after the bulldog from the top rope after Scott Steiner hit Sasaki with the Frankensteiner.

In the back, Keiji Muto was shown working out with Masahiro Chono and Genichiro Tenryu in preparation for his upcoming title shot against LCW Universal Champion Hulk Hogan. Mean Gene Okerlund tried to interview Muto, but Tenryu yelled at him in Japanese and kicked him out of the locker room.

Nikita Koloff defeated Ivan Koloff in 7:01 by pinfall after a running powerslam in a Russian chain, loser leaves LCW match.

In the back, Mean Gene Okerlund interviewed Sting who said Abdullah The Butcher’s nightmare had arrived and it was just a matter of time before his nightmare becomes his reality.

Sting defeated Abdullah The Butcher in 5:19 by pinfall after the Scorpion Death Drop in a steel cage match. After the match, Abdullah attacked Sting, until the lights went out. When the lights came back on Sting was gone and Abdullah was face to face with The Undertaker! The Undertaker attacked Abdullah with a series of right hands before hitting him with the chokeslam. The Undertaker was going to walk out through the steel cage door, but he turned around and picked up Abdullah and hit him with the Tombstone piledriver before leaving the ring.

In the back, Mean Gene Okerlund interviewed LCW United States Champion Diamond Dallas Page about defending his title against Ted DiBiase tonight and Page said DiBiase started something with Page that Page was going to end with a “Bang!”

LCW United States Champion Diamond Dallas Page defeated Ted DiBiase (with Virgil) by countout 5:13 after Page went to hit DiBiase with the Diamond Cutter, but DiBiase rolled out of the ring and he and Virgil ran to the back.

The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff (with Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie) defeated Rocky Johnson and Tony Atlas in 3:11 by submission when The Iron Sheik made Johnson submit with the Camel Clutch after Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie hit Johnson with the flag pole.

In the back, Mean Gene Okerlund interviewed Superstar Billy Graham about only having to defeat one more member of the Board of Directors, Bruno Sammartino, to be reinstated. Graham said it wasn’t going to be any challenge at all.

Superstar Billy Graham defeated Bruno Sammartino in 4:18 by knockout with the bearhug after Ivan Koloff interfered and hit Sammartino with the Russian chain. After the match, Ivan Koloff was escorted out of the arena by security officials.

In the back, Mean Gene Okerlund interviewed Bret Hart, Jim Neidhart, and The Dynamite Kid about wrestling Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall. Neidhart said The Clique was about to suffer a collective Hart Attack. Dynamite Kid said he was ready to end The Clique’s party. Hart said Michaels had made it personal and tonight it was going to end.

In the back, Sean Mooney interviewed Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall about wrestling Bret Hart, Jim Neidhart, and The Dynamite Kid. Nash said Neidhart wasn’t a legend and was only here because he made a career of riding Bret Hart’s coattails. Hall said he was going to send that limey Dynamite Kid back where he came from. Michaels said he did make it personal with Hart and tonight The Clique was going to make it even more personal.

Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall defeated Bret Hart, Jim Neidhart, and The Dynamite Kid in 8:14 by pinfall when Shawn Michaels pinned Bret Hart after the Superkick. During the match, Jim Neidhart had to be taken to the back on a stretcher making it a handicap match after Kevin Nash powerbombed him from the ring, over the top rope, and down to the floor below. After the match, Michaels, Nash, and Hall attacked Hart and Dynamite. Jim Neidhart came out and tried to save them, but he couldn’t and he was quickly beaten down and had to be taken out on a stretcher again.

LCW Television Champion Sgt Slaughter (with Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie) defeated Ahmed Johnson in 4:59 by disqualification after The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff interfered and attacked Johnson. After the match, Ricky Steamboat came out and helped Johnson clear Volkoff and Sheik out of the ring before Johnson hit Slaughter with the Pearl River Plunge. Sheik and Volkoff dragged Slaughter out of the ring and went to the back.

In the back, Mean Gene Okerlund interviewed Lex Luger who said he was going to prove himself to the Four Horsemen as J.J. Dillon stood in silence and refused to comment when Okerlund asked him for a comment about the situation.

Masahiro Chono defeated Lex Luger (with J.J. Dillon) in 6:11 by pinfall after Barry Windham interfered and hit Luger with the Lariat clothesline while the referee was distracted by J.J. Dillon who had jumped up on the ring apron to distract the referee. Windham then placed Chono on top of Luger for the pinfall and the win. After the match, Dillon left with Windham and Anderson, Blanchard, and Flair met them on the entrance stage and gave Luger the Four Horsemen hand gesture. They laughed as Luger tried to make it to his feet and then turned around and left.

In the back, the Lady Legends gathered in a locker room around a television set to watch the upcoming final match in the LCW Women’s Championship Tournament. They were talking amongst themselves when Sherri Martel and Wendi Richter began to yell back and forth at each other. The other Lady Legends settled them down.

Bull Nakano defeated Madusa Micelli in 5:38 by pinfall after a guillotine legdrop in the final match in the Lady Legends Tournament to win the LCW Women's Championship.

In the back, Sherri Martel and Wendi Richter began brawling. At first, the other Lady Legends tried to pull them apart, but eventually the other Lady Legends began brawling with each other. Akira Hokuto pushed Wendi Richter out of the locker room and she bumped into Bull Nakano who was making her way to her locker room. Richter apologized and Nakano looked like she was going to shake it off, but out of nowhere she attacked Richter, hitting her with a lariat clothesline before slamming her against a wall and then onto the cement floor. Nakano walked away as the other Lady Legends looked on in shock. Cutie Suzuki, Rockin’ Robin, and Bambi went to check on Richter as the other Lady Legends discussed what just happened and showed concern for Richter. Luna Vachon said to Sherri Martel, “And I thought I was a crazy bitch.”

Big Van Vader defeated LCW International Champion Jake Roberts in 3:23 by pinfall after the powerbomb to win the LCW International Championship. After the match, Masahiro Chono attacked Big Van Vader until LCW officials came out to separate them.

In the back, Mean Gene Okerlund interviewed LCW Universal Champion Hulk Hogan in his locker room. An unusually quiet Hogan seemed more focused than usual. Okerlund asked Hogan about Jesse Ventura attacking him last week on Showdown and Hogan said he didn’t know that Ventura had in his head when he did that. Okerlund asked if he had sustained any injuries and Hogan said only minor injuries and that it could have been worse. Hogan said he was only focused on one thing and that was walking away with the LCW Universal Championship tonight. Okerlund thanked Hogan for the time as he continued to wrap tape around his wrist.

Steve Williams, Don Muraco, Bam Bam Bigelow, and Paul Orndorff (with Capt. Lou Albano) defeated Koko B. Ware, Tito Santana, and Jimmy Snuka, and Hacksaw Jim Duggan in 7:17 in an elimination match. After the match, Williams, Muraco, Bigelow, and Orndorff continued attacking Duggan until Santana, Ware, and Snuka returned to the ring and attacked Williams, Muraco, Bigelow, and Orndorff until Duggan grabbed his two-by-four and hit them all, knocking them out of the ring. Meanwhile, Capt. Lou Albano was stuck in the ring with Ware, Santana, and Snuka. Ware hit Albano with the flying dropkick as Santana and Snuka held Albano. Santana then put Albano in the figure-four leglock and Snuka hit Albano with the Superfly Splash while he was still in the figure-four leglock. Santana released the hold and Ware, Snuka, and Santana kicked Albano out of the ring.
Order of Elimination:
- Bam Bam Bigelow eliminated Koko B. Ware by pinfall at 2:12 after the Greetings From Asbury Park.
- Paul Orndorff eliminated Jimmy Snuka at 3:45 by pinfall after the piledriver.
- Don Muraco eliminated Tito Santana at 5:18 by pinfall after the Reverse piledriver.
- Steve Williams eliminated Hacksaw Jim Duggan by pinfall at 7:17 after a running powerslam.

In the back, Mean Gene Okerlund interviewed Jesse Ventura who said he had purchased a front row ticket tonight to see Keiji Muto take down LCW Universal Champion Hulk Hogan and end Hulkamania once and for all. Ventura also added that if Muto couldn’t get it done, he was going to do what nobody else had been able to do for the past 20 years and end Hulkamania himself.

Keiji Muto (with Genichiro Tenryu) defeated LCW Universal Champion Hulk Hogan in 13:43 by pinfall after The Great Kabuki interfered and hit Hogan with a thrust kick before Keiji Muto hit Hogan with the Shining Wizard. During the match, Hulk Hogan and Jesse Ventura got into a physical altercation at ringside when Ventura took a shot at Hogan. Ventura was removed from the arena by security. Moments before the end of the match, Kendo Nagasaki also interfered and hit Hogan with a kendo stick. Muto attempted a pinfall, but Hogan kicked out, Hulked Up, and went to hit Muto with the legdrop, but as he was attempting the move, Genichiro Tenry grabbed his leg, tripping him. As Hogan grabbed Tenryu to pull him into the ring, The Great Kabuki came into the ring and hit Hogan with the thrust kick and then Muto hit him with the Shining Wizard for the pinfall and the win. After the match, Muto celebrated the title victory with The Great Kabuki and Kendo Nagasaki and the Yakuza Mafia.
